local shopping, and family fun on the beautiful Lunenburg waterfront at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic!
Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, a foodie, a live-music fan, or simply looking for a fantastic fall day out with family and friends,
South Shore Oktoberfest has something for everyone.
TheBeer Garden | 1:00 PM – 11:00 PMGet ready for one of the South Shore's biggest Oktoberfest celebrations! Our
waterfront Beer Garden will feature:
A great selection of Nova Scotia craft breweries Exclusive Oktoberfest beers specially brewed by
Shipwright Brewing Company Local craft beer, cider, wine, and ready-to-drink beverages A full-service
bar featuring spirits, coolers, and non-alcoholic options Live music throughout the afternoon and
evening Oktoberfest games, competitions, dancing, and plenty of festive fun Grab your friends, raise a stein,
and enjoy Oktoberfest on the waterfront!
🎶 Beer Garden Live Music Lineup | 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
We've got a fantastic lineup of live entertainment taking the stage throughout the afternoon and evening!
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | The Roving Steins
Kick off the Beer Garden with the festive sounds of The Roving Steins, bringing traditional German and Oktoberfest music
to the Lunenburg waterfront.
4:30 PM – 6:30 PM | Saucy Jack
Keep the celebration going with local favourites Saucy Jack and an energetic afternoon set.
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Diggin Up Grubs
As the evening gets underway, Diggin Up Grubs takes the stage with a lively performance to keep the Beer Garden moving.
9:30 PM – 11:00 PM | Lyle Catt Blues Band
Close out the night with the Lyle Catt Blues Band, bringing blues, rock, R&B, and classic favourites to the waterfront stage.
Between the music, join in on polka dancing, Oktoberfest games and competitions, including the always-popular
Beer Stein Holding Competition!
🌭 Best of the Wurst Who serves the South Shore's Best of the Wurst?
Our Best of the Wurst celebration kicks off October 3! Participating local restaurants will create their own unique
Oktoberfest-inspired sausage or German-themed dish.
Try the participating creations, vote for your favourite, and help crown the South Shore's "Best of the Wurst!"
The fun doesn't stop after Oktoberfest. The restaurant promotion will continue throughout the month, with a portion of
proceeds supporting We Feed Lunenburg and helping make a difference right here in our community.
🍔 Great Food + Charred BBQ Food Truck | 7:00
PM – 11:00 PMCome hungry! Enjoy a delicious variety of food throughout the day from local restaurants and food vendors.
Then, from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Charred BBQ Food Truck will be on site serving up delicious BBQ favourites right
through the evening Beer Garden festivities.
Grab some great food, find a spot by the stage, and enjoy an evening of live music, local drinks, and Oktoberfest fun on the
waterfront!
